How do I apply?
Fill in the application form on our site, call (0212) 649 17 55 or message us on WhatsApp. The process has four steps: application, initial assessment with our clinical psychologist, preparation of an individualised education plan, and start of the programme.
Is the first assessment free?
Yes. The initial assessment meeting to identify your child's needs is free of charge.
Which age groups do you serve?
We serve individuals aged 0-18. Our Early Intervention Unit works with children aged 0-6; each programme page lists its age range.
Is your centre approved by the Ministry of National Education?
Yes. İpekyolu has been serving in Sultangazi since 2005 as a special education and rehabilitation centre approved by the Ministry of National Education.
What are your opening hours?
Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 18:00 · Saturday: 09:00 - 14:00. We are closed on Sundays.
What is early intervention and when should it start?
Early intervention means identifying developmental differences during ages 0-6 and providing individual support to the child and family. Because the brain develops very quickly in this period, starting as early as possible is recommended.

Our autism programme is individualised and based on applied behaviour analysis, targeting social communication, behaviour and daily living skills. It is delivered by special education teachers, clinical psychologists and speech and language therapists.
Do you provide speech and language therapy?
Yes. Our speech and language therapists run a therapy-based programme for language delay, articulation disorders and fluency difficulties (stuttering) for ages 2-18.
What are hippotherapy and sensory integration?
Hippotherapy uses the horse's multidimensional movement to support balance, muscle control, coordination and self-confidence. Sensory integration is an individual programme delivered in specially equipped therapy rooms to develop sensory processing skills.
Do you offer support for ADHD?
Yes. Our ADHD programme strengthens attention span, impulse control and organisational skills to support school success. It is for ages 4-18 and delivered by a clinical psychologist and a special education teacher.
Are families involved in the process?
Yes. We hold regular information and guidance meetings with families and share suggestions to apply at home. Especially in early intervention, the family is the most important part of the process.
Which specialists work at the centre?
Our team includes special education teachers, clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and child development specialists.
